Biriyani Premix

Marinate chicken / paneer / mixed vegetables / soya with a small portion of Saro’s Premix, yoghurt, and salt. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and sauté freshly chopped onions until golden. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, and the remaining premix. Sauté for 2 minutes. Add the marinated chicken/ paneer / vegetables / soya and sauté for 2–3 minutes. Cover and cook until done. Add cooked basmati or jeerakasala rice (cooked with salt). Mix gently, cover, and cook on low flame (dum) for 5 minutes. For a Kashmiri Pulao twist, add freshly chopped fruits and nuts such as pomegranate, apple, grapes, raisins, almonds, and cashews. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Sambar Premix

In a pressure cooker, mix Saro’s Premix with warm water, chopped vegetables, and salt. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Open the lid and simmer until the sambar thickens to your desired consistency. Serve hot with rice, idli, dosa, or any of your favourite dishes. For a darker, richer sambar flavour, dry roast the premix until dark brown before cooking.

Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker and sauté freshly chopped onions until golden. Add black chana (kadala) / mixed vegetables / paneer / mushrooms / chicken as per your choice. Add Saro’s Premix, salt, and water. Mix well and pressure cook until done. Serve hot with chapathi, rice, puttu, pathiri, or your favourite meal.

Chana Masala Premix

Heat oil in a pressure cooker and sauté freshly chopped onions and green chillies until soft. Add Saro’s Premix, water, salt, and soaked chickpeas (soaked for 6 hours). Mix well. Pressure cook until the first whistle. Then lower the flame and cook for 4 more whistles. Once the pressure is released, simmer until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency. Serve hot with poori, jeera rice, bhatura, chapathi, or rice.

Heat ghee, butter, or oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions, green chillies, and your choice of vegetables / chicken / paneer for 2–3 minutes. Add Saro’s Premix along with salt and water. For a richer taste, add coconut milk or milk powder. Cover and cook until everything is well cooked and the gravy thickens. Garnish with fresh curry leaves or coriander leaves. Serve hot with ghee rice, appam, pathiri, chapathi, or rice.

Heat butter, ghee, or oil in a pan and sauté freshly chopped onions until soft. Add paneer / mushrooms / mixed vegetables / chicken and salt. Stir well for a few minutes. Add Saro’s Premix and cook for 1 minute. Add a splash of warm water and cook on medium flame until everything is fully cooked. Stir occasionally and serve hot. Best enjoyed with chapathi, naan, jeera rice, ghee rice, or bread.

Cooking Instructions: Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil and sauté 200-250 shallots for 3–4 minutes. Add 50g Saro's Theeyal Premix and 400–450ml water. Add salt to taste and bring to a boil. Simmer for 12–15 minutes until the shallots are tender and the gravy thickens. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Millet-Moringa Soup

Empty 1 sachet / 1.5 tbsp of Saro’s Millet–Moringa Soup into a cup or bowl. Add 1 cup of room-temperature water and mix well until smooth. Microwave for 1 minute 10 seconds or cook on stovetop for 2–3 minutes while stirring gently.

Serve hot and enjoy a warm, wholesome bowl of goodness anytime.

For a richer taste, add a splash of milk or coconut milk before cooking.
